One Month Old !!!!!!

Hello everyone! Today Wiles is officially one month old... it is crazy to think how fast time goes by. He is growing so quickly! Wiles is doing well- he is amazing thru the night and he only seems to be fussy from about 8-10 p.m. and we can usually count on Mimi and Pop to come and walk with him at least 4 nights of the week. (yes we know we are spoiled) He is starting to grin which is awesome to see! We think he has a dimple like his dad, but we are waiting to confirm. We have discovered that he hates bath time...even when we get the bathroom nice and warm (we know he is spoiled) he still hates being naked! Who knew we could have a kid that hates being naked! He seems so alert and aware and loves to look around. We also took him on his first walk (we had a freakishly warm day here last week) he did pretty good but we will give it another try once the weather warms up. He also has been on a few outings - lunch with us, lunch with relatives, and a few trips to the store- it is amazing to see how riding in a car knocks a baby out... we will have to remember that during those fussy times, as a last resort of course! Good News, Bad News

Well we have some good news and bad news for all the Wiles fans out there....The good news is that Wiles has his Dad's long legs (see picture below). The bad news is that Wiles also inherited his Dad's ear's (insert joke here). He is doing well although he has some trouble in the early evenings and is quite vocal during his rough spells, his tummy is having trouble adjusting to his Mothers spicy diet apparently. Today he is 3 weeks old! Sorry about the Red eye, we are struggling with NASA's version of a Digital camera. Hope all are well!

2 Weeks Old!

Hello everyone!

Wiles is officially two weeks old today and we are amazed at how much he changes on a daily basis. He is doing awesome! He is making it four hours thru the night so we are getting more sleep than we thought. He also loves being snuggled with... which essentially means we have been spoiling him b/c he constantly wants loved on. He is missing all the family we had in town b/c when they were here he never had to be alone. Finley is doing great with him. He is very protective and wants to be right by Wiles at all times. Thanks to everyone who left us a message. We appreciate all of your love and support! Have a great week!

Hello Everyone!

After much anticipation and recovery on our end, we are finally getting the details out about our newest addition! Wiles Hayden Langhorne was born on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 8:51 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. and 7 ozs. and was 21.5 inches long. We cannot describe how much joy and excitement we feel right now! It is amazing to be parents and to know that our son is surrounded by so many people who love him! We hope you enjoy the pictures, they are some of our favorites! We will do our best to keep this going so all of you can watch him grow along with us! We can't wait for all of you to meet him in person!
